In order to solve the problem of microscopic image noise, a biological microscopic image segmentation model based on the smoothing of the fourth-order partial differential equation was proposed. Based on the functional description of image smoothness by directional curvature mode value, a fourth-order PDE image denoising model is derived, which can effectively reduce noise while preserving edges. The result of this method is piecewise linear image, and the gradient at the edge of the target has a step. Using the feature of noise reduction, a new geodesic active contour model is proposed. The experiment result shows that when the variance of Gaussian white noise is 15, the enhancement and denoising effects of the proposed method are 80.35% and 69.84 higher than those of the original vibration filtering method and L. Alvarez method. In terms of time, the proposed method is 1.3075 seconds slower than the original vibration filtering method and 17.5754 seconds faster than the L. Alvarez method. When the variance of Gaussian white noise is 25, the enhancement and denoising effects of the proposed method are 97.79% and 81.16 higher than those of the original vibration filtering method and L. Alvarez method. In terms of time, the proposed method is 1.3246 seconds slower than the original vibration filtering method and 17.5796 seconds faster than the L. Alvarez method. . The new model is not only stable but also has strong ability of contour extraction and fast convergence.

In order to relieve the pain of incision after cesarean section, a method of foot and hand massage for abdominal pain of cesarean section incision under ultrasound guidance was proposed in this paper. In this paper, the experimental control method and retrospective analysis were used to relax the patients through massage, so that the pregnant women could focus on the reaction caused by hand and foot massage, distract their attention, and reduce the pain. The results showed that 60 cases of puerpera after cesarean section were divided into two groups with 30 cases in each group. The control group was only given routine care. The intervention group received 20 min hand and foot massage on the basis of routine care. The visual analog scale (VAS) of pain before, immediately after, 30 min after, and 60 min after massage in the intervention group was evaluated and recorded, and the VAS scores of the control group at the corresponding time points were recorded. The VAS score of the intervention group at each time point after massage was significantly lower than that before massage ( < 0.05), and the VAS score of the intervention group at each time point was significantly lower than that of the control group ( < 0.01). Hand and foot massage can effectively relieve incision pain after cesarean section.

In order to solve the nursing problems of local anesthesia patients under arthroscopy, a nursing method and experience based on local anesthesia patients under arthroscopy was proposed. From June 2019 to May 2021, 478 patients who underwent knee arthroscopy under spinal anesthesia or local anesthesia were retrospectively investigated, including 186 cases (38.9%) under local anesthesia and 292 cases (61.1%) under spinal anesthesia. 2% lidocaine plus epinephrine was injected locally and intra-articular in patients with local anesthesia, and 0.75% bupivacaine in patients with spinal anesthesia. It was found that in the local anesthesia group and spinal anesthesia group, 94.1% (175/186) and 98.3% (287/292) patients did not feel pain during operation. 93.0% (173/186 cases) and 96.2% (281/292 cases) of patients in the two groups were satisfied or very satisfied with the effect of anesthesia, respectively. The experimental results showed that local anesthesia was a simple and effective anesthesia method for knee arthroscopy, which was more reliable and safer than spinal anesthesia. Local anesthesia could be used for knee arthroscopy or cleaning and rinsing, free body removal, or even common meniscinoplasty.

In order to solve the difficult problem of deep learning-based robot vision tracking algorithm research and implementation, a deep learning-based target tracking algorithm and a classical tracking algorithm were proposed. It mainly uses the combination of traditional TLD algorithm and GOTURN algorithm to benefit from a large number of offline training data and updates the learner online, so that the whole system has better performance in real-time and accuracy. The results show that the performance of the TLD algorithm is poor regardless of the accuracy curve or the accuracy curve, and the performance of GOTURN-LD is significantly improved when the illumination changes. In the face of occlusion problem, the TLD algorithm shows strong robustness. Although GOTURN-LD is not very stable, its performance is better than GOTURN on the whole.

OBJECTIVES: To compare the effects of two hand cleaning schemes on the prevention of surgical site infection in routine orthopaedic surgery. Compared with the standard surgical seven-step washing technique and detected by ATP fluorescence method, the handwashing effects of the improved surgical eight-step washing technique and the standard surgical seven-step washing technique were compared, so as to provide a basis for eliminating the handwashing blind area of the surgical seven step washing technique and improving the surgical handwashing method. METHODS: A total of 800 consecutive patients who underwent clean and clean-contaminated orthopaedic surgery between January 1, 2020 and December 31, 2020. Twenty orthopaedic doctors in the operating room of our research team were randomly divided into the improved eight-step washing technique group (improved group) and the traditional seven-step washing technique group (traditional group), with 10 people in each group. Each person was randomly sampled 40 times, 400 people in each group, a total of 800 people, and completed by stages in 12 months. . The infection rate of surgical site 30 days after operation was the primary end point. The qualified rate of fingertip culture was combined with ATP fluorescence in the two groups and three new culture areas in the two groups: the lateral edge of the palm, the medial edge of the palm, and the nail groove of the middle finger and the nail root were secondary end points. RESULTS: The 2 protocols were comparable in regard to surgical site infection risk factors. The infection rate of surgical site in the traditional group was 10 cases (2.50%) in 400 cases and 0 cases (0%) in the improved group. Three culture areas were added: the qualified rate of lateral edge of palm, medial edge of palm, and nail groove and nail root of middle finger, and the nosocomial infection rate of surgical incision between the two groups was statistically significant ( < 0.05). There was no significant difference in the qualified rate of fingertip culture ( > 0.05). The handwashing scheme in this study meets the recommended duration of hand disinfection and has good tolerance, and the skin dryness and skin irritation after using aqueous solution are similar. CONCLUSIONS: The improved surgical eight-step washing technique combined with ATP fluorescence detection is helpful to eliminate the "blind area" of handwashing. It is also necessary to add three training areas. Handwashing and training are more scientific, rigorous, and effective. They are effective in reducing orthopaedic surgical infection and have application value. They can safely replace the traditional surgical seven-step washing technique, which is worthy of clinical promotion.

In order to solve the problem of multisolution and ill-formedness of the 3D reconstruction method of a single image (purpose), the author proposes a microscope image segmentation algorithm based on the Harris multiscale corner detection. Separating complex engineering images into several simple basic geometric shapes, rebuild them separately to avoid the ill-conditioned solution problem of directly recovering depth information. In order to improve the registration accuracy of the corner-based image registration algorithm, the idea of multiresolution analysis was introduced into the classic Harris corner detection, and a gray intensity variation formula based on the wavelet transform was constructed, and a scale transformation characteristic was obtained so that the improved Harris corner detection algorithm is invariant to rotation, translation, and scale. Experimental results show that after reconstruction, the error between the length of the object measured based on the point cloud data and the actual length of the object is small, and both remain within the error range of 3 mm. The experiment verifies the fast, accurate, and stable characteristics of the improved algorithm.

In order to solve the problem of image noise, the author proposes a computer microscope image segmentation model based on the smoothing of fourth-order partial differential equations. On the basis of the functional describing the smoothness of the image by the directional curvature modulus, the author deduces a fourth-order partial differential equation (PDE) image noise reduction model, while effectively reducing noise, the edges are well preserved. The processing result of this method is a piecewise linear image, and there is a step in the gradient at the edge of the target. Taking advantage of this feature of the noise reduction results, the author proposes a new geodesic active contour model. The experimental results show that the reference method directly segments the results, iterates 10 times, and takes 160.721 seconds. Using the noise reduction model in the paper to preprocess and then using the reference method to segment the result, iterating 8 times, it takes 32.347 seconds. . The new model is not only stable but also has strong contour extraction ability and fast convergence speed.

Gambogic acid (GA), a kind of polyprenylated xanthone derived from Garcinia hanburyi tree, has showed spectrum anticancer effects both in vitro and in vivo with low toxicity. However, up to now, there is little information about the effects of GA on esophageal cancer. In this study, we aim to test the anticancer effects of GA on esophageal cancer EC9706 cells. We established a nanoscale imaging method based on AFM to evaluate the reactive oxygen species- (ROS-) mediated anticancer effects of GA on esophageal cancer regarding the morphological and ultrastructural changes of esophageal cancer cells. The obtained results demonstrated that GA could inhibit cell proliferation, induce apoptosis, induce cell cycle arrest, and induce mitochondria membrane potential disruption in a ROS-dependent way. And using AFM imaging, we also found that GA could induce the damage of cellular morphology and increase of membrane height distribution and membrane roughness in EC9706 cells, which could be reversed by the removal of GA-induced excessive intracellular ROS. Our results not only demonstrated the anticancer effects of GA on EC9706 cells in ROS-dependent mechanism but also strongly suggested AFM as a powerful tool for the detection of ROS-mediated cancer cell apoptosis on the basis of imaging.

In order to study the clinical application value of placenta accreta (PIA) diagnosis and grading, the authors propose a method based on ultrasound combined with magnetic resonance imaging in the diagnosis and grading of prenatal placenta accreta patients. This method is adopted in materials and methods: a retrospective analysis of hospital patients with high suspicion of placenta accreta by clinical or ultrasonography between October 2019 and October 2021, the imaging and clinical data of 312 patients who underwent placental MRI examination. The MRI imaging data of all patients were jointly analyzed, and the main observation indicators are as follows: (1) dark zone in the placenta, (2) disruption of the border of the myometrium, (3) disruption of the myometrium, (4) abnormal blood vessels in the placenta, (5) enlargement of the lower part of the uterus, and (6) local bulge of the bladder/or invasion of the adjacent tissues of the uterus. The results show the following: in MRI combined with ultrasonography ( < 0.05), there was no statistical significance in the specificity and accuracy of MRI combined with ultrasound to diagnose PIA ( > 0.05). The comparison of graded diagnostic accuracy showed that in ultrasound alone < MRI alone < MRI combined with ultrasound, the differences were statistically significant ( < 0.05). Ultrasound combined with MRI in the diagnosis of placenta accreta is in good agreement with the clinical and surgical pathological results; MRI examination can be used as an important method for prenatal placenta accreta screening. MRI can classify placenta accreta to some extent.

Though artificial intelligence (AI) has been used in nuclear medicine for more than 50 years, more progress has been made in deep learning (DL) and machine learning (ML), which have driven the development of new AI abilities in the field. ANNs are used in both deep learning and machine learning in nuclear medicine. Alternatively, if 3D convolutional neural network (CNN) is used, the inputs may be the actual images that are being analyzed, rather than a set of inputs. In nuclear medicine, artificial intelligence reimagines and reengineers the field's therapeutic and scientific capabilities. Understanding the concepts of 3D CNN and U-Net in the context of nuclear medicine provides for a deeper engagement with clinical and research applications, as well as the ability to troubleshoot problems when they emerge. Business analytics, risk assessment, quality assurance, and basic classifications are all examples of simple ML applications. General nuclear medicine, SPECT, PET, MRI, and CT may benefit from more advanced DL applications for classification, detection, localization, segmentation, quantification, and radiomic feature extraction utilizing 3D CNNs. An ANN may be used to analyze a small dataset at the same time as traditional statistical methods, as well as bigger datasets. Nuclear medicine's clinical and research practices have been largely unaffected by the introduction of artificial intelligence (AI). Clinical and research landscapes have been fundamentally altered by the advent of 3D CNN and U-Net applications. Nuclear medicine professionals must now have at least an elementary understanding of AI principles such as neural networks (ANNs) and convolutional neural networks (CNNs).

Surface corrosion is considered to be a main reason for the surface pattern damages of copper coin sourced from the Qing Dynasty. In this study, micromorphology and the structural feature of the copper coins were analyzed to determine their corrosion mechanisms. The results revealed that the etching rates successively reduced with decreasing corrosion thickness, possibly because of unique macrofeatures of the surface pattern. Variable phases, bonding morphologies, and three-/two-dimensional structures of Ql-TB (Qianlong-Tongbao) coins were visibly different at the microscale, which induced disproportional stresses and microscopic cracks, facilitating an unhindered entry of oxide and hydroxyl (OH) ions. These species resulted in the competitive interplay of self-healing and self-degradation mechanisms on the coin surfaces and formed corrosion thickness of ~9.31 m and a mean corrosion rate of ~2.7%. This study provided an important guideline for preserving microstructures and surface patterns of historical copper coins.

In order to improve the diagnostic value of color Doppler ultrasonography in placenta accreta and make the diagnosis more accurate, a method to detect placenta accreta by combining color Doppler ultrasonography and magnetic resonance is proposed. The patients with placenta accreta were selected for color Doppler ultrasonography and MRI examination. Kappa test was used to analyze the consistency between the results of ultrasound and MRI examination alone and combined diagnosis and pathological examination results, and the receiver operating characteristic (ROC) was drawn. Price compliance, sensitivity, specificity, good estimate rate, negative bid success rate, and Youden index were chosen as the basis for measuring the value of our tests. The results showed that the Kappa combined test rate was 0.609, the equivalent efficiency was 80.90%, and the correlation was good; ROC curve analysis showed that the sensitivity and specificity of articular placenta accreta were 91.75% and 89.26%. The sensitivity, uniqueness, good estimate, negative predictive value, and Youden index of color Doppler ultrasound combined with magnetic resonance imaging>magnetic resonance imaging>color Doppler ultrasound in our laboratory were compared, and the difference was significant ( < 0.05). The experimental results show that color Doppler ultrasound and MRI are effective in the diagnosis of placenta accreta, and each has advantages and disadvantages. Therefore, it has been improved in the diagnosis of placenta accreta, is helpful for the diagnosis of placenta accreta, and is suitable for popularization and use.

AIM: Using a modified thermal cycling method to establish narrow root fracture models and evaluate the diagnosis efficiency of them using four different cone-beam CT (CBCT) units. . Fifty-six intact teeth were selected, and the crowns of the teeth were embedded using general purpose acrylic resin. 50 root fracture models were established by soaking these teeth in liquid nitrogen and hot water cyclically; 6 teeth were used as the negative control. All the 56 teeth were scanned with the smallest voxel size of four different CBCT units (NewTom VGi, Planmeca Promax 3D Max, Kavo 3D eXam, and Soredex Scanora3D). 10 teeth were randomly selected, and the roots were sliced using slow-speed saw to obtain horizontal root sections. Scanning electron microscope (SEM) was used to measure the width of the fracture lines (FLs). The CBCT images were evaluated for the presence or absence of fracture lines. Accuracy, sensitivity, specificity, positive predictive value (PPV), and negative predictive value (NPV) were calculated for the diagnosis of FLs using the four CBCT units. RESULTS: Fifty narrow root fracture models were successfully established, and 25 root sections with 45 FLs were acquired. The width of FLs was from 3.43 m to 143 m; 32.2% of the points had width under 25 m, while only 9.6% of them had width over 75 m. The accuracy was 0.41, 0.54, 0.41, and 0.30 for NewTom VGi, Planmeca Promax 3D Max, Kavo 3D eXam, and Soredex Scanora3D, respectively. CONCLUSIONS: The modified temperature cycling method is a simple and effective method to establish narrow root fracture models, and the diagnosis efficiency for these narrow fracture lines was quite poor using all the four different CBCT units.

The objective of this research is to study the effect of obstructive sleep apnea-hypopnea syndrome on cognitive function of stroke. Based on linear regression equation and Montreal Cognitive Assessment Scale, the degree of cognitive impairment in OSAHS patients was evaluated and the influencing factors of OSAHS-induced cognitive impairment and the correlation between the degree of OSAHS and cognitive impairment were explored. The results are as follows: about 68% of OSAHS patients have cognitive dysfunction, and the incidence of cognitive dysfunction is positively correlated with OSAHS; cognitive impairment of OSAHS patients was associated with age, obesity, years of schooling, and intermittent nocturnal hypoxia or hypoventilation; the severity of cognitive dysfunction of OSAHS patients was positively correlated with age and obesity but negatively correlated with education level; Logistic regression analysis results showed that there were three factors that were finally entered into the regression equation, namely, LSaO2, BMI, and AHI, and the Logistic regression equation obtained was as follows: Logist = -0.109 + 0.785 + 1.228 . This study helps clinical workers to detect and intervene the impaired cognitive ability of patients with OSAHS early, so as to reduce the incidence and mortality of related complications and improve the quality of life of patients.

In this paper, we report the simple preparation and investigation of electrical transport properties of nanoform MoS thin film transistor (TFT) devices. MoS nanoparticles were synthesized by using the hydrothermal method. The physiochemical characterizations such as UV-vis, Fourier transform infrared, X-ray diffraction, and Raman spectroscopy studies were performed. Spin-coating was used to make the thin film on which silver electrodes were made. We observed nonlinear current-voltage (I-V) characteristics; however, the symmetricity was found in the I-V curve which confirms the no formation of the Schottky barrier between thin film and electrodes. Transistor transfer characteristics reveal that the TFT device is n-doped as more drain current modulation is observed when the positive gate voltage is applied. The relationship between gate-current and gate voltage studies concludes that there is no leakage gate current in the TFT device which further confirms the good reliability of transfer characteristics of a device. The device mobility was calculated as ~10.2 cm/Vs, and the same was explained with plausible reason supported with Raman spectra analysis.
