In order to explore, according to Katharine Kolcaba's theory, the impact of distraction techniques on the comfort of hospitalized children aged 2 to 6, research was conducted among professionals working in pediatric wards. The results demonstrated that these personalized methods, which allow parents to be involved, have an effect on the physical, psychospiritual, sociocultural, and environmental aspects of comfort. They reduce pain and anxiety in hospitalized children, encourage cooperation, and improve the hospital experience.

At the Antoine Lacassagne Center, a cooperation protocol between nurses and doctors now allows specialized nurses to change voice prostheses for laryngectomy patients. This initiative is a first in France. It shortens treatment times, reduces complications related to voice prosthesis leaks, and fully recognizes nursing expertise. In one year, 154 changes were performed by nurses, with a high level of satisfaction among both patients and healthcare professionals.

A prospective observational study was conducted by the Brothier laboratory in partnership with sixteen home hospitalisation services (HAD), including the HAD of the Fondation Santé Service. It focused on the use of Algostéril® in the treatment of stage 3 and 4 pressure ulcers in combination with the preventive measures implemented by the HADs. After eight weeks, it showed a significant reduction in the surface area (55 %) and volume (63 %) of pressure ulcers in 82 patients with an average age of 80.
